I hope you start programming soon, the faster the better! Even though this forum is onlt 60 days old it feels like I've been waiting 2 years for the game. Which is probably how long I will actually have to

This isn't a cheap 2 minute game, this is a game that will last forever!

more like 20 years... i kinda think i will know that it will be shut down because croc will leave.
and it will probably take only 1 year longer to make game. one thing i think is weird, is that in FAQ says
game will be done "soon" lol. soon isn't 1-2 years xD

The game is coming out in 2009. And i agree with mash, You dont know how Hard it is to set up a server with a flash game like CS!
Its very hard and we dont any programmers.
MO got up quick cause they had alot of members and alot of programmers.

lol - servers are easy. Go to the site, rent the server, log on with username and password, and install the server side flash player. then tell the website server to collect the file and mirror it to you lot! quite simple

Mr.Reptile , Do you know What World of Warcraft private servers are because when they make those they just use Hamachi and stuff like mysql and navicat as their server. Would that be possible in flash?

Hamachi is for private networks and stuff, and navicat is used as admin software and stuff but explain to me how we could use them

People make "Private servers" where they can do anything on the game.
And they use Hamachi and navicat to make the server for the private server.

yeah, i ahve some software called Vmware (server edition), vm is virtual machine, and I can divide up the hard drive, then put the game on and point it to different places. but only I can do that, I can't let players do it. Do you mean players can create servers?

Im just wondering if it possible to create a multiplayer online game with hamachi.
