Whenever you are creating threads for ideas, make sure that you eventually get to the point. Some users get so wrapped up thinking of ways to write and perfect their idea, they forget to mention key parts in their idea! Make sure that whenever you are creating a thread, you are creating a story.

When you update your thread, make sure you everyone know that you changed some details to it. This way, people may change their opinions about your idea, and it may get more support. If someone posts an idea to improve this idea, add it to your first post and let everyone know about this change. This may cause some people to change their opinion about your thread.
Accidents
While creating an idea, you may come across some accidents. If you, for some reason, closed out of this thread/ forum without saving your word on your computer, don't be discouraged. If you think that is not worth it to do it all again, you are wrong. Whenever I was creating this thread, I messed up and had to start over. I re-started my work to help others. And isn't that why we are creating these ideas? To help Crocodile Swamp and ourselves.
