Gangster Tells Me To Tie My Shoelaces

I
was walking home from a program I do in school and it was 5:00pm where
I was (New York) and it was dark. A gangster came up to me and said
"Yo! Your shoes!" And he watched me tie my shoes from a distance until
I was fully finished and then he said "Yeeeea!!!" and walked away.
Strange... Confused
